Bard on Broadway: A Shakespearean Cabaret is an exciting combination of our traditional summer cabaret and Summer ShakesPierce programs. Patrons will enjoy song and dance from Broadway musicals adapted from Shakespeare’s works with live band accompaniment. The show will include songs from West Side Story, The Lion King and Kiss Me, Kate—as well as scenes from the original Shakespearian plays upon which they’re based.

Hallstrom Planetarium

Blast off with the Hallstrom Planetarium’s 2024-2025 Starlight Series

The state-of-the-art Hallstrom Planetarium offers lectures and shows about planets, constellations and stars. Planetarium shows are live multimedia presentations that use special-effect projectors to tell stories about the planets and stars. Seventy-four reclining seats with headrests allow visitors to view the heavens from the comfort of armchairs.

• Laser Light Shows
  That’s right - rock out to your favorite music alongside state-of-the-art laser effects and custom video design in a mesmerizing selection of concerts. Experience the immersion like no other with VIP beanbag couches! These shows will only be around for a limited time and sell fast, so make sure to save your spot today.
  
  
• Sci-Fi Saturdays
  Be sure to join us for our Science Fiction Film Series on select Saturdays of the month! There’s nothing quite like watching your favorite movie on the planetarium dome. Each workshop includes audience discussions about the film and refreshments after the show.
  
  
• Wednesday Workshops
  Want to learn more about astronomy? Attend our new Wednesday Workshops! From learning the constellations to exploring the moon and so much more, these two-hour instructional workshops are sure to empower and delight both casual and serious sky watchers alike. *Please be aware that in order to offer the best experience, workshops may require ‘students’ to occasionally relocate between rooms or outside, such as for hands-on telescope operation.
